Marc Lefebvre

Marc’s our fearless leader, and the “L” in “DLA”. Though he stands at a mere 5’7”, his creative genius makes up for his shortage in stature. He’s the man behind the curtain of the agency, but with a lot more power than the guy in that Wizard of Oz movie. Marc provides the creative direction for all our accounts, and coordinates project management between the designers, software architects and suppliers. He also uses words most of us don’t understand, but it doesn’t matter as long as the websites work like they’re supposed to (which they do).

With more than 17 years of creative, multimedia and print experience, Marc has worked with some of the biggies: Caterpillar, Allstate, and American Express Financial Advisors. Around town, he’s been the go-to guy for the folks at Heritage Bank of Central Illinois, Peoria Park District, Peoria Surgical Group, The Catholic Diocese of Peoria and Plum Creek Builders. With years of printing experience, he’s been in the trenches of pre-press, and he’ll be the first one to notice if there’s a quirk on your quote, a glitch in your graphics, or a problem with your proof. He’s the epitome of a perfectionist, and a snappy dresser as well.

Michelle Lefebvre

Michelle is a firecracker in heels — size 4 heels, that is — and the “other half” of the DLA partnership. With more than 20 years of communications experience, Michelle has served as Marketing Director for MassMutual’s Central Illinois Agency, Editorial Director for an international marketing firm and Deputy Communications Director for a U.S. Senate campaign.

Fueled by Mountain Dew, Michelle runs a tight ship around here — managing the employees, directing the agency’s marketing and growth strategies, and integrating their communications plans. She’s big on branding (as everyone should be), and won’t just recommend a fly-by-night marketing plan that will get your message out for a week or two. To ensure that your business marketing goals are achieved, she puts her nose to the grindstone, her ear to the wall and eyes on new opportunities. Put those features all together and you have more than just another pretty face in great shoes.

Laura Roehnelt

Zoom. Zoom. Look at her go! Whether it's meeting client deadlines or shuttling kids to a myriad of activities, Laura gets the job done. She has 16 years experience in corporate marketing and design, with an emphasis in healthcare. She received her B.A. in Graphic Design from Eastern Illinois University.

When not creating print pieces or websites for DLA clients, Laura's passions include watercolor painting, sketching, doodling, photography, camping and fishing. Her favorite movies include The Matrix, Amelie, and Demise of the Sugar Peeps.

A native Metamoran, Laura lives in Germantown Hills with her husband of 17 years. They have two daughters, two dogs and an elderly cat.

Adam Byerly

Adam speaks in tongues sometimes, throwing out terms like C#, ASP.NET, MySQL and PHP. Most of us have no idea what he’s saying, but we do know that not much would work without him. Adam provides the back end for database driven applications using both web based user interface and Windows application user interface design. If you don’t know what that means, that’s OK. All you need to know is that it’s a critical component to make your website do what you want it to do.

Adam marches to the beat of his own drum and will challenge anyone to Dance Dance Revolution. When asked for a quote to describe his work, Adam said, “There are people who are good at what they do, and people who love what they do. By the grace of God alone, I find myself at the intersection of those two groups.” We should all be so lucky to be at such an interchange.

Gayle Siems

Gayle loves numbers. She lives for them. She eats them for breakfast. Actually, she eats oatmeal for breakfast, but you get the idea. After earning her BS in Accounting from Bradley University — GO BRAVES! — she married Brian, her high school sweetheart (everybody say “AAAWWWWWW!!!”). They are the proud parents of two grade-school girls — Taylor and Natalie, and a “hairy little son” — a miniature dachshund named Tucker.

Gayle’s the queen of quarterly reports, a virtuoso of valuation and an all-around awesome accountant. When her fingers aren’t burning up a 10-key, Gayle can be found outside — hiking, fishing and camping. Her number one vacation was trekking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with her family. Whether she’s hiking the hills or plowing through payroll, she’s number one in our book!

Paula Schulzki

Paula’s a lifer. She’s been with DLA since the beginning, even though she’s now living in the Big Apple working as an art director at advertising giant Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Advertising. (We like to throw out that we swim with the big fish.) She’s currently the art director on the Nexium account, for all you acid reflux fans.

A talented designer, Paula has worked on accounts for Caterpillar Investment Management, Caterpillar Training Institute, ChoicePoint Precision Marketing and Heritage Bank of Central Illinois. She’s a trouper who pitches in on key DLA accounts when we get swamped. (Thanks, Paula!)

Spencer

The newest team member springs into action each morning, always excited to come to work. Spencer has completed training in Sit, Stay and Snuggle – but hopes to achieve advanced education in “Fetch that paper from the printer.”

Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment, Spencer spends a short time each day greeting staff, delivery people and clients before fulfilling his other main duty of sleeping quietly.

Prior to joining DLA, he spent three weeks at Foster Pet Outreach after being found lost and lonely. We are pleased to welcome this rescue beagle to DLA Creative!
